Mrs. Ibarra managed all phases of project development for resorts and hotels, timeshare resorts, and custom commercial facilities, including programming and analysis of client objectives, contract negotiations, construction administration and coordination with regulatory agencies. She was responsible for design and technical leadership and management of project budgets and schedules. She was also responsible for management of project designers, architects, CADD production personnel, and consulting engineers of all disciplines.

Her extensive project experience includes hotels and resorts, commercial buildings, schools and governmental buildings, and renovation.

Mrs. Ibarra was a lead member of the design team responsible for directing an 8 person team through design management, development and construction contract administration of Disney’s Vacation Club Resort, a 504 suite vacation ownership complex supported by a 14,000 square foot Preview Center and a 17,000 square foot Clubhouse, constructed within the Lake Buena Vista Golf Course. She provided full time site supervision for one year during construction and subsequently completed the Phase II and Phase III documents.

Mrs. Ibarra was a member for the design team responsible for the construction documents of Disney’s Dixie Landings Resort, a tourist complex reflecting a variety of cultures of the southern United States. This resort includes 1,024 guest rooms designed to reflect three southern themes supported by two commercials centers.

She served as lead of the Crowne Plaza Conversion Guidelines team. These guidelines set standards for Holiday Inn resort developments in a variety of locations. Mrs. Ibarra also led design and production teams in the actual conversion of several hotels, implementing the conversion standards within the constraints of local jurisdictional codes and requirements. She is sensitive to material and labor availability, cost implications, and contextual parameters.

Mrs. Ibarra was a lead member of the design concept team for Holiday Inn Roadside Imaging, a new product line renovating existing 1960’s original Holiday Inns.

In addition, Mrs. Ibarra has acted in the capacity of Architectural Standards Review for Holiday Inn, reviewing design and construction documents of local architects selected by the franchise to ensure conformance with Holiday Inn standards.

Mrs. Ibarra was the designated Holiday Inn Project Manager from 1992 to 1993 as an employee of another architectural firm. 

Between 1994 and 1995, she worked as a consultant for foreign Holiday Inn standards development.
